Enough
Tearing my eyes away
from the pages of my book
I look up.
I've tried reading between the lines
a hundred times or so.
The day outside,
even though grey,
is quiet.
Like my unspoken thoughts.
Last night
under the swaying stars
those thoughts,
the light ones, the deep ones
came undone
like a
beautiful meadow of wildflowers.
I choose to live,
once more.
I begin again.
This world,
it is enough.
Drinking
first coffee of the day

Like a woman
