Dissolve

Today,

I want to

dissolve

into myself

like  one of those fizzy headache

tablets.

Listen for all the notes I've never heard.

Think about you,

 always always you ~

and feel a

little sad that I'll never

get the chance to explain .

That's Autumn for you,

filled with secrets

at the bottom of barrels of apples.

Hidden in the dancing flames of every candle

I light and as

I draw the curtains every night~

glancing silently through the glass,

to beyond this road

and streets of this city

wondering

where you are

  1. Hi sweetheart!

I'm sorry - I've been a useless follower recently! I've so missed your words and I want you to know you're often in my thoughts.

I love the picture of the candle. I think that's very seasonal. I can so relate to this post. I feel that way too.

Love you to bits, lovely lady!

  2. Darling little one!
Oh I too have been a useless blogger, life keeps overtaking me.
I've checked in everyday to see if you have been around, so I've the *biggest* smile on my face today!
How goes the job? Are you writing much?
We are having a quiet weekend, lovely person is off to foreign fields tomorrow with work. :(
I will write this blog today, I promise!
But first, coffee.... with gingerbread syrup! :)
Love you too my little one.
    So much!

  3. The job is going well thank you, my dearest! I got my promotion, and I am very excited about the challenges ahead. Alas, I don't get much time for writing these days, but no doubt I will once I learn to juggle again. I have returned home for a very brief reprieve as my graduation ceremony is tomorrow.

Enjoy your coffee with gingerbread syrup! That sounds gorgeous!

Pretty misty stars

A sound of birds singing

It's early.  And almost a year since I was here. I hear a sound of birds singing  outside my window and a dog barking down the street. ...
