One night in London

It came as close to perfection,

as anything I could ever imagine.

I've never made any secret of the fact

that I totally detest living where I do,

and in a heartbeat~

I would be gone.

London is a city

that is particularly close to my

heart, and yes ~

because of love.

When the plane touched down

I almost wanted to kiss the tarmac

as it felt like coming home.

London is such a vibrant,

alive city~

where people get on

with the business of living.

I was walking around in Trafalgar Square

wishing I could just let the city seep

right into my pores.

The tube stations, the clackity clack

of the wheels of suitcases

going up and down the stairs.

People,

going everywhere,

anywhere.

We laughed,

we walked ,

we ate.

Then,

came Dame Julie.

She was everything, and more.

In one night,

in London.

  2. Hallo darling!
Kess, we had the BEST time. I've loved Dame Julie since I was eight.
And there she was, ten feet away from me.
I'm exhausted now, the travelling wearied me lol .
It was A BRILLIANT weekend , one I will never forget.

Pretty misty stars

A sound of birds singing

It's early.  And almost a year since I was here. I hear a sound of birds singing  outside my window and a dog barking down the street. ...
