Midsummer

We've been away,

and today took on the shawls of

evening so early

I hardly even noticed.

The world has left me alone,

caught on a silver string

between day and night.

Our house is silent

and there is a feeling of eternity

in the sky.

Life has been anxious,

huge,

these days.

For now,

I'm happy with the nearness of distance.

A rose

on these midsummer nights,

waiting;

under the singing hills.

Reading
All the pretty girls

Drinking
Late night coffee

Feeling sad about
Amy Winehouse's premature death

Feeling happy about
How I am growing as a person

Todays photo mine,
taken as the sun set over the Atlantic.
