A sword will pierce your own heart


I often think of Mary.

Especially at Easter time,

and because I'm a mother.

That sword that pierced her heart,

I don't know how she bore it.

She must have been a very special woman,

to bring Jesus to us,

to lose him,

and then to see him rise again.

What a wonder.

    I can't imagine what it must have been like for her to watch her child suffer and die. What joy she must have experienced though to see him rise again! She is definitely one of my heroes!
