Slowly, slowly ,let the hours go
Hopefully,
the hours won't hurry today.
I want them to linger long,
and slow.
We have five Polish friends coming over
for barb~e~cue, and this gives me an excuse to
take a trip to the Saturday market.
Problem is I LOVE that place so much now,
when we go I find it hard to come home.
All those pretty little stalls selling coffee
and freshly baked breads.
What's a girl to do?
( Here's a pretty little blog I found quite by accident.
It's all about bookmarks people have left in books. It's really
endearing and I've grown to love it. )

Kessie my darling!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost one am and I'm only getting here now.
Everyone left about an hour ago and I've been clearing up since.
We had a fantastic day. ( the good Lord let the sun shine on us)
and when tiny raindrops came, we sat under the Gazebo.
Looking up, it was like looking at the milky way.
I wished you had been there, with us.
And I told everyone so.
