Finding the true grain
Do you know,
I really thought about stopping writing this blog.
Today.
Kess, my darling friend,
reads ( and for some unknown reason)
actually *likes* what I write.
I've been blogging now for almost six years.
A new blog is created every minute.
What do I have to say that hasn't already been said?
Then, today,
sitting quietly in work,
I read this.
* Thunderheads jostled for space along the horizon to the west like
an impending threat,
the promise of revenge for something unspoken,
but every once in a while a spike of brilliance sliced through,
like a whittlers knife cutting back,
to find the true grain within. *
* Sigh*
This is why I can never give up.
I really can't.
Perhaps someday,
I'll write words like that.
Someday,
I'll find the true grain.

Please don't stop blogging!!! We all get moments like this. I know someone who calls it 'blogger's block' and I was suffering from this up until the end of last week because nothing much is happening at the moment. I hope you find the words you're looking for. You continue to inspire me all the same.
