Field notes

The traveller in me is yearning,

yearning,

again.

This time last year

we were preparing for my birthday trip

to France.

What I loved most about Paris

was the fact that in the middle of a very busy

and vibrant city there were parks.

Lots of them.

You could escape the noise

and bustle of the city

and find a seat to read your book.

While surrounded by beauty.

We lay on the grass and looked up at the sky

through the metal bars of the Eiffel tower.

We drank the most wonderful hot chocolate

from Angelinas  where Coco Chanel

worked on her designs.

Walking home,

under the Parisian stars I sank,

beneath the surface of your skin.

And felt free.

Travelling heart,

please be still

It's funny, I am SO critical of my photography and I
thought these ones were weak :(
The chocolate was the BEST I've ever tasted tho...
