When your hands spin moons

Too late to do any reading,

or gaze out the kitchen window to

the park beyond.

I'm out tonight with friends

for dinner.

To a little cafe/wine bar that

looks like it stepped back in time.

This weekend I'll

watch the dandelion seeds float like

whispers on the summer breeze.

Perhaps I'll get to lie on my back

in a field of flowers

looking up at the sky

making animal shapes of the clouds.

Tonight,

I'll wear a red ribbon in my hair.

Just for you.

(This was half written as my ride arrived, dears.
My writing this week has been so erratic, due to time constraint.
But,
I did wear my ribbon. :)

  1. I can just imagine you wearing a red ribbon!

Your blog has changed while I've been away and I LOVE IT! :)

Hope you're okay sweetpea. Sounds as though you've had a busy week, but hope you're winding down now that it's the weekend.

Oh yeah, I have a bit of news for you. I'm going to blog about it at some point but I don't know when I'll get the chance. I've got my first job interview! Just thought you might like to know. I'm quite excited!

  2. Hi Sweetheart and welcome home!
Yes I've been messing around with the new blogger templates
( basically I've absolutely no idea what I'm at lol.)
However this is the one I like best.
I'm a creature of habit you see and change throws me a bit heh.
    Glad you are home honey!
    Good trip?

Pretty misty stars

A sound of birds singing

It's early.  And almost a year since I was here. I hear a sound of birds singing  outside my window and a dog barking down the street. ...
