Today,

1% summer,

99 % rain.

Good old British summer,

roasting hot one minute,

chucking it down in torrents the next.

These mornings ,

we've taken to having our breakfast

al fresco,

and the same with our evening meal.

It's so lovely,

eating out in the garden

with just the birdies for friends.

Go away rain.

I want the sun and the breeze and songs on the radio back.
