A small photo blog for Sunday











Today,

we went to a vintage fair.

Very retro.

Old vinyl albums and dusty old shoes.

I liked the ruby slippers best.

We bought some old books,

a hardbound copy

of Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.

A dog eared copy of * The secret life of bees*

by Sue~Monk~Kidd for me.

She lives beside a salt marsh in North Carolina.

I like that.

Even though I don't know what a salt marsh is.

Then the rain came.

So we rode the bus home.

A perfect day,

really.

    It looks amazing! :-) Wonderful photos! I especially love the ruby slippers too - makes me think of Dorothy from the wizard of Oz! :)

    I have a copy of 'The Secret Life of Bees' on my bookshelf! I haven't read it yet, but it's one I hope to read soon.
