On the first day of May

In France,

on the first day of May,

there is a tradition of giving

a bouquet of Lily of the Valley to each other.

This morning,

the florist

arrived on my doorstep with the

most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen.

He filled my arms with it.

Giving Lily of the Valley means,

we give happiness to each other.

On the little card there were few words~

( apparently this is from a song in France that is

sung a lot)

*Our song of love,

is more beautiful than ever,

your smile,

more beautiful today,

than ever.*

The card wasn't signed.
