The borrowing

April is being a shy little violet,

is she not?

Someone asked me in work today

if I had heard the expression * The borrowing*

* No.* I replied.

March decides to borrow

her last days from

winter or spring,

apparently.

It was enough to send me for a warm bath,

and a hot chocolate with whipped cream.

April,

come.

With the borrowing.

( Sob. I was editing my posts and * somehow * I managed to DELETE the entire
lot! )
Yes every single one! All 269 of them!

Ah well, new page, new ink. )

Unintentional spring clean! Lol. Sometimes it's nice to have a fresh start.

You're not a muppet, cupcake. It happens to the best of us.

  2. Hello Kess
    ;)
    You always cheer me up!
It's been a funny old night. Bloved's mama is 80
and in the early stages of dementia.
She arrived on our doorstep in her slippers this afternoon in the snow!
I had to warm her wee frail fingers in a hot towel.
Then I made a lovely chicken stew, and in between I was trying to
sort out some posts and I accidentally deleted them! :(
An unintentional spring clean is a nice way of looking at it though....
    :)
Bloved's gone now to take Mama home.
It's difficult, and we don't want her wandering the streets.
    Especially in the snow!
No wonder I'm a little distracted......
    Thanks Kess,
    for keeping me grounded.
    And just for being you.
    My lovely little Kessie.

  4. Ooh, and a lovely hello to all my lovely new silent ghosts!
Yes, you lot over there in the visitors box.
All of a sudden, America has arrived!
( Sorry there is only one post to read!)
    More will follow, I promise.

Pretty misty stars

A sound of birds singing

It's early.  And almost a year since I was here. I hear a sound of birds singing  outside my window and a dog barking down the street. ...
