Understand



While the world scrambled along today,

I was helping a friend who needed me.

My thoughts became unattached,

rather like the pieces of a jigsaw.

I came home,

took the longest shower ever,

and had some Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

Now, white sheets call me.

With my newly washed curls,

tumbling down.
