Pretty in Pink

In one way,

I'm ecstatic with happiness,

and in another ~

I'm like a frightened little girl.

The ash is back.

And I have a plane to catch come Friday.

I'll ask Kess to pray for me,

that the ash will blow back to Iceland.

Today,

is a day for girlie things.

I'm having my nails done

and I'm going to

get them painted the prettiest shade of

pale pink.

Then,

to town and hide in the corner of

a new tea room my son introduced me to

on Monday night.

It's called * The Dark Horse *

I'll sit in the corner and dream of flights

that go,

pink balloons and red gingham tablecloths.

I'll listen to the songs of my new favourite listen,

Sibylle Baier.

If you see me,

come over.

I'll buy you a cup of tea.
