Day two of three

It's been nice,

only working three days~

this week.

After last weekend

I feel as tightly strung

as a violinist's bow.

The world has caught up with me.

Day two of three in work,

equally as busy.

We have promised ourselves

*us* time , come Saturday.

Wine and candles

while we

watch the stars slide into the night.

If they remain unseen,

silent,
solitary ,

we will look for them.

Dream of all the moments

I wanted to be by the sea

with you and couldn't.

Lovely sounds

have drifted in

and out of my consciousness

tonight,

seagulls ,

soft scales practiced on a flute.

Somewhere,

the lapping of the sea,

but only

in my mind.

Now,

the quiet of this house marks

the passing of the hours.

I rather like it.

On day two, out of 3.

  1. Hello flower,

A 3 day week is a lot more manageable! :) Pity it couldn't be that way all the time, but I suppose it does make us appreciate the time we have for ourselves.

Your *us* time will definitely be well deserved. Make sure you use it to do whatever you want, my sweet :)

  2. Hello my little braveheart princess !
Oh Kess, you have no idea how much I'm longing for the weekend
    to come.
I wish I had the power to read 100 books in a minute lol.
How go things at the castle of Kess?

  3. It's going well, thank you cupcake :) Mum and Dad are back now and I'm feeling pretty optimistic about the dissertation. I've also had my exam date and realised just how close I am to the end!

Oh, how I wish I could read 100 books in a minute! There are so many on my bookshelf dying to be read. You have the ability to speak my thoughts.

Back to work for me. When you read this it will be the weekend! Yay!

Pretty misty stars

A sound of birds singing

It's early.  And almost a year since I was here. I hear a sound of birds singing  outside my window and a dog barking down the street. ...
