After a fairly stormy two weeks
I've decided
it's time to dust myself down
and get on with life.
Tonight when I got in from work,
hot,
sweaty and cranky,
oh yea~ cranky.... :)
I decided I needed a glass of wine
and a large one at that.
I decided to sing to myself in my
best gospel voice
( as loud as I could.)
It's no bad thing we live in a detached house. :)
Crank up the volume,
I thought.
And that's exactly what I did.
Singing
HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW!
AND I KNOW HE WATCHES ME!
( repeat at least 17 times)
I SING BECAUSE I'M HAPPY!
I SING BECAUSE I'M FREE!
After several choruses of this,
I felt so much better.
Sometimes,
no one does it as well as Mahalia Jackson.
It's important to listen to her
and give my kids a laugh through my kitchen wall.
