Psalms of praise

The butterflies bush waiting for them to dance around

My happy little sunflower, how she grows!

Seagulls making it feel

like we are at the ocean all the time

these glorious,

sunny

summer of twenty thirteen days.

Will we ever forget this season?

The sound of my neighbours having fun

clinking glasses

and laughter drifting

from their garden into ours.

My new butterfly bush that we bought to bring

lots of dancing ladies to our back yard

The dim half light of summer evenings

when you hear dogs barking and children playing.

Sitting in our garden and listening

to these sounds

that to this heart,

sound

like Psalms of praise.

These simple,

unfettered joys

making my heart ache with

love and the undeniable joy

that we call life.

A blogger asked me recently
what I do week to week

Well..
I'm a full time nurse in one of the biggest teaching hospitals
in our city, and I'm a full time mom to two darling sons.
I'm married to the best and most gentle guy on earth.
I like to let my imagination run riot as my work day to day
is heart~wrenching and often emotionally draining.
I love coffee and drink far too much of the stuff
I adore words, journalling and blogging,
as with them,
I escape to places that are happy and free from care.
I adore travel, especially to the United States of America
where we are going in FOUR weeks time :)
So..yea, I'm a normal gal, living and loving life,
but not happy about growing older ;)
That's me.
Week to week.

Have a great one, dears

Pretty misty stars

A sound of birds singing

It's early.  And almost a year since I was here. I hear a sound of birds singing  outside my window and a dog barking down the street. ...
