Cheese and poached pears and other words

Isn't  this journal so beautiful?

I love journals stuffed full of words and pictures

so this one blew me away.

This week has also been packed with lovely

loving heartfelt things.

For instance

I'm listening to the music of Philip Glass as I type.

I'm also using a brand new Macbook air

that my darling husband bought me for my birthday

and gave me in advance.

This means it's so much easier to blog ,

so hopefully I'll write so much more here

than I have done over the last few months.

This week also saw us having many laughs in work.

Imagine!

Laughing in work?

Yes, it's possible~

 and I highly recommend it.

Yesterday my son and his girlfriend invited me out for dinner.

I love it when that happens,

they never make me feel like an add on,

or the fact that I am thirty years their senior.

We went to a cute little  cafe bar called Muriels

drank wine,

ate delicious seafood chowder

and the most perfect poached pears

with cheese.

I hope dears, your week

was full of loving words and deeds too
